Not every marathon course is equal. Running downhill presents a different challenge than running uphill, but any change in elevation makes a course more difficult. We asked teammates a couple questions about their past experience in the NYC marathon and what they thought about the course.
Yumi Ogita has painted the park orange this fall. Since the team championships in August, Yumi has knocked out a streak of three consecutive faster races, all in the mid 80% range. Central Park started with 153 members entered to run in this year’s upcoming ING NYC marathon. And as of this article 117 are listed in the marathon database as participating on November 2nd. We talked to a couple of club members.
